Return & Exchange Policy – The Silver Saga

At The Silver Saga, we are dedicated to delivering finely crafted silver jewellery that meets the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Every piece is carefully inspected before dispatch. However, in the rare event that you are not completely satisfied, we offer a transparent and structured return policy to ensure a smooth experience.

Please read the following terms carefully before initiating a return or exchange:

1. Return Eligibility for Defective or Damaged Products

We only accept returns in cases where the product delivered is defective, damaged, or significantly different from what was ordered.

  • Customers must notify us within 24 hours (same day) of delivery.
  • A return request must be raised by emailing us at thesilversagajewelry@gmail.com along with:
  • 2–3 clear, high-quality images from different angles and/or an unboxing video clearly showing the defect or damage
  • Order details (Order ID, name, and contact information)

Important Conditions:

  • The unboxing video is strongly recommended as proof for faster resolution.
  • Requests raised after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
  • The product must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition.

Return Process:

  • Once your request is approved, you must ship the product back within 3 days of approval.
  • The item should be securely packed to avoid further damage in transit.
  • After receiving the product, our quality team will conduct an inspection.

Refund Terms:

  • If the product passes inspection, a refund will be initiated after deducting shipping charges (if applicable).
  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.
  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Customers are required to share their bank account details (Account Holder Name, Account Number, IFSC Code) via email to process the refund.
  • For prepaid/online payments: Customers must mention their UPI ID or payment details, along with the transaction/reference ID and exact amount paid at the time of placing the order, to ensure accurate refund processing.

2. Returns After Usage / Delayed Return Requests

Understanding the long-term value of silver, we offer a flexible return/exchange option beyond the immediate return window:

  • Products returned after usage or beyond the standard return period will be evaluated based on their current net silver weight and prevailing silver rate.
  • The final value will be determined after deducting:
    • Making charges
    • Stone or embellishment costs (if any)
    • Applicable handling charges

Exchange Benefit:

  • The calculated value can be used as a credit towards a new purchase from The Silver Saga.
  • This allows customers to upgrade or redesign their jewellery while retaining intrinsic silver value.

3. Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized or personalized jewellery (including engraved or made-to-order items)
  • Items purchased during special sales, clearance, or promotional offers (unless defective)
  • Products that show signs of wear, damage, alteration, or improper handling
  • Items returned without original packaging, invoice, or proof of purchase

4. General Return Conditions

To ensure a successful return process, please note:

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging, including boxes, pouches, certificates, and invoices.
  • Any tampering, damage, or missing components may result in rejection of the return request.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring safe packaging and shipping of the return product.
  • We are not liable for loss or damage during return transit if not shipped securely.

5. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can only be cancelled before they are dispatched.
  • Once the order has been shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.

6. Shipping Charges

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping costs must be borne by the customer unless the return is due to a defective product.
